A message from our President:

Dear Sisters,
According to the calendar, we have just two months left to 2008.  Thanks to our hard working entertainment committee, chaired by Selma Edelman, Marilyn Asner, Fran Albert and Betty Swinkin, we have covered many grounds of entertainment all year long.  (Selma when do you sleep?)

We all enjoyed a great Pizza Party at Sal's Restaurant on Sunday October 28th including musical entertainment and the day after, October 29th, went to the Hard Rock Casino.

Our November meeting will be our annual pinning ceremony meeting of new members and we hope to have our new National President, Barbara Seltzer along with our own Betty Swinkin, Membership Chairman conducting this.

Please Note:  Our December Meeting will be held on  Wednesday, December 19th, 2007, because of the Holidays.

It is our desire to have special events that will keep you interested and that you will spread the word of our organization and the work of our organization and the work that we have been doing for the many years that we have been in existence.  As in any organization membership is its lifeline and you are ours!!

Sincerely, Frieda Weiss, President.

Looking forward to that "lovely tree".

Sincerely,

Thanks to Claire's dedication at meetings in the month of December we will be starting our tree no. 27.  (27 children attending camp thanks to the filling of these trees)
